Salicornia Herbacea
Called “sea asparagus” in Korea, where they serve it in the form of salads or side dishes, or use it as an ingredient to make soups, is believed to strengthen your bones.
Usually the cooking water used for its preparation is left to cool down and then used to treat juvenile acne or to promote skin elasticity in elderly people.
Its betadine content also makes it an excellent ingredient for the formulation of creams offering protecting after shaving and depilation.
